About Me

 

 

I am an independant self motivated make-up artist from East Yorkshire.

 

I developed an interest in special effects make-up many years ago and after studying several art courses, I then graduated with my BA (hons) degree in Special Effects Make-Up Design for Film, Television & Theatre.

 

I have worked with many creative and talented people and it is always a pleasure to make their visions come to life. I always strive to put my clients at ease whilst maintaining a high standard of health and safety at all times.

 

After working as head make-up artist on several projects with 'Yella Belly Films' I was lucky enough to win an award for Best Hair & Make-Up with our film 'Grimsby RV' in the '30 Day Action Film Challenge' competition based in Tampa, Florida, in the US.

 

My skills cover many areas of make-up from direct make-up application to prosthetics, props,  film & televsion and theatre based make-up.

 

I can be hired for film & television projects, music videos, events such as Halloween functions and Birthdays, prosthetic & prop making and private make-up requirements.

I also take commisions on whatever your imagination can conjure up.
